Paying a Price

Friday, February 12, 2010

This is probably the most transparent book I’ve ever written, and that’s saying something. It’s a very vulnerable book. That’s the only way to really help people, though. – John Eldredge, author Love and War.

To anyone who preaches the Word and doesn’t pay a price, it might be just words. To anyone who thinks preaching is just about the words, doesn’t know there is a price. – Me

This has been so real to us in the last few weeks. First, it was stewardship, integrity, and trusting God with all our finances. Yep, without going into detail, it has been a difficult winter for us, precisely today breakthrough came. If you read on the blog, last week we ended stewardship and today Wilson will start with family. He’s been reading “Love and Respect”. Guess where we’re being hit now? You got it.

Yes, this is the price to pay and with God’s grace and strength we will overcome. Thank you Jesus, for you already have given us victory!
